The Association of Legal Administrators (ALA) has launched a comprehensive research and benchmarking program designed to identify the key metrics, policies and practices that influence workplace quality, organizational culture and productivity/profitability at law firms.
The ALA is partnering with ModernThink, a nationally recognized leader in assessing and improving workplace quality, to implement this ground-breaking initiative. The cornerstone of The Legal Workplace™ program is a two-part assessment process, the ModernThink Legal Insight Survey© a workplace climate assessment to be administered to partners and employees; and the Infrastructure and Practices Inventory© (IPI), to be completed by management. ModernThink will compile, analyze and evaluate the results, develop benchmarks and then provide comprehensive reports and individual firm findings reports to all participating firms.
The assessment period begins in June 2014 and participation reports will be delivered in the spring.
